My year of being 17 was easily the best year of my life...then became the worst right before I turned 18. I'm indifferent to it now.

 the daily challenge of seeing if establishments will sell you cigarettes
other highlights of being this age:
+ not being able to drive due to a drinking citation
+ no longer thrilling or exciting to see r rated films or play m rated video games
+ speeches from my dad that have to do with how soon i'll be a man and these times they sure do go by

you know what age would probably be tempting. 20. you're old enough to buy cigarettes, but you're not old enough to drink and gamble. so close yet so far. its probably not that bad but oh well, im 17 and im content with it.
