i heard of them before, never really listened to them. aren't they like that gypsy punk band? i heard they were anarchist or something... i don't know.. that song "tubthumping" they had on the radio in the 90's was catchy though

my mom only has inferno albums in her car & it cuts 15 minutes off of her drive to work everyday.
also it makes driving places with my mom way more exciting.
as a narcoleptic, it is significant that world|inferno is the only music that’ll get me up out of bed before i’ve taken adderall.
also they got the whole worldview thing down.

appresh! listening to them while going about my day makes me walk with a swagger and feel like i can take on anything in the whole entire world.
i was talking to some guy on the metro about them a month ago who was like, "THEY'RE DONE DUDE, THEY'RE DONE. MY FRIEND KNOWS LUCKY AND HE SAID SO." almost clocked him. h8ers be damned.

i adore this band!
i have had such a hard time finding a place that felt right. i would hang out with these people at shows and that i went to school with and they were nice enough, but they just didnt care about the things i care about. they didnt really care about anything... then i found world/inferno and it felt like home. everything was better. it helped me quiet down that part of my mind that kept telling me that i was too serious or silly or just a dreamer and that i needed to grow up.
my friends think im crazy, my family doesnt get it, my mom is worried that i am involved in some kind of pumpkin cult, my last relationship ended because the guy knew that if inferno played on pluto, id follow them(which is considered unreasonable apparently, but its really not that far for a good show), i almost quit my job last year because they wouldnt let me off to go to hallowmas... and i have never been happier.
i cant express how much i love this band and this board. i have only actually met a couple of you, but you all kick so much ass.
not only do i fully appreciate the band, the music, the wine, but hell, there are some amazing people here too. i hope to meet more of you. and as always, if you're ever, by some cruel twist of fate, in georgia, look me up and i will give you wine and a place to crash.

Still my favorite band, still love them to death, still have complete faith the new record will be fantastic.
Bummed about the lack of shows, it seems like the band has fallen on hard times (LEAN TIMES FOR WORLD INFENRNO....had to make the joke), but still...love them.
