Its a little old, but last year for my senior art project, I built a duct tape dress and suit and me and the guy i went with wore them to my prom. He was really lame though and didnt even wear the pants I made or anything.

i used to do a lot of stenciling. here are the most recent (and these were already a few years ago.)

I ALSO.... knit from time to time (i'm halfway through a scarf but it's at home), doodle with sharpies, started writing songs (recently), and do these cute little Punch Needle crafts that are a very easy version of Needlepoint crafts (though I do cross-stitch too...)

edit: how could i forget. i like to collage things too.

becoming vegan has made me realize that i love making shit in the kitchen. i have a lot of fun just putting on some music, mixing it all up, and popping that shit in the oven, hitting a bowl, and enjoying the fruit of my productivity. i made some power(violence) bars using the basic recipe from "please don't feed the bears," adding raisins because i love raisins and honey to make them sticky and delicious. i had one of the blueberry muffins i made this weekend for breakfast for breakfast today, and i made a batch of awesome cupcakes for my music theory's leap day party on friday.

great, but the dv transfer looks nowhere near as good as it did on the 16mm. With that said, your only gonna be able to see it on DV till I get around to cleaning the film.

stuff I've been up to:
-just finished my conceptual spoon for class, It's a wolf tongue I carved out of pink ivory (it's not real ivory it's just a type of exotic hardwood that is pink in color) but any way it's super sexy
-tomorrow I'm starting a charm bracelet, but instead of the charms being stupid things, they are going to be bullets from various types of guns.
-we have a project on beauty coming up in one of my classes, and I found these images of destroyed overgrown cities, so I think i'm gonna do a project about that
-i need to finish this gigantic pen and ink drawing thats pretty sick too
-i have some really nice cotton interlock fabric that I dyed last semester so I think i'm gonna screenprint it and make some sick t-shirts
-need to finish up my tapestry project for color and the loom class.
-and about a week ago I finished building a mace with a team of 7 other people, wrapping up a project that we've all been working on for about 7 months.

I always have a lot on my plate.

yeah i am! i have a creeper confession to make: i totally ravelry-searched "beard hat" and found you, but thought it would be weird to friend you out of the blue. i but i will now and we can geek out about knitting in private!

i don't design as much as i want to because i work at a yarn store and in addition to being overwhelmed by other peoples' great patterns, i also knit store samples and it takes up a lot of time! i have a few fun things in the works though.
