Good advice to anyone putting on shows. Also, for weekday shows or whenever there's a hard stop time, tell bands when they're done and stick to it. No headliner should have to play a short set because the second opener got stuck in traffic.
I was at a show in Atlanta a few weeks ago and the headliner, Jim Bianco, could only play a 45 minute set because the opener, Bleu, probably started late because they were waiting for more people to show since it was a Wednesday and they were supposed to go on at 7:00. I'd waited two years to see the headliner and the opener was probably the worst band I've seen since Mogwai about six years ago.
