Vass, you must have been tired when you made that post, more spelling errors that usual.

As for the show, top notch as usual.  Even though the venue left me a little steamed.  The asshole bouncer who kept kicking Kit and I out of the green room almost got to feel what it's like to be on the receiving end of when I really get mad.  We were just giving the band their Xmas gift.  My truck being towed was another downer, but at least I had a pocket full of cash and was able to get it back in less than 10 minutes.  Probably paid less than the impound fees and fines anyway.  Fucking extortion.  That lot only had one no parking sign, way in the back.  Guess I learned another expensive lesson.

Songs of the night for me were Our Candidate (of course), Heartattack Waltz (it was nice seeing Jack dance with Kit), and Jerusalem Boy.

Too many infernites to name, but it was a great pleasure to finally meet Worst Fan.  Thanks for the invite to waltz with you and Devil's Belle.

Miss Nikki and Miss Emily: you are both lovely, and such fun!
Vass: I'm glad you liked my dress, excellent pics, yay for more stickers
Bilmas: It's always a pleasure
Rat and Kit, Allegra,Angelo, Sean, Rain, Nick, everyone i forgot: nice to see you again
RALPH: welcome back! Hahahaha.
and of course...
WorldaBlaze: It wasn't right without you...don't ever do that again!
Ok, I'll see you kids later, take care everyone.

It was a good evening, and a good show...a good time indeed.  I got a bit too drunk and chatty though...

Post-show highlight: riding to Williamsburg in a jam-packed and rickety van full of gear, Benjy, Semra, and these punk-rock guys from a band called "Holocaust" (I think?), as the kids inside driving were singing along and guitar-soloing to GNR's "November Rain"...LOL!  :D

sidebar thought: post-show drinking in the Sweetwater...some guy was spitting on another fella at the pool table trying to start a fight...oy vey.  Didn't affect any of us, but it makes me wonder about stupid drunken behavior...I guess that kid hasn't ever thought to himself that any violent altercation can possibly end in homicide...don't raise your hands in anger for anything not worth raising your hands for...sheesh.

It was good seeing everybody...Jack and Co., of course, Bilmas, Vass, Jesus, Mr. Brain, Miss Emily and Miss Nik, Miss Rain, and Mr. Normal, the dude standing next to Mr. Normal at the stage post-show (name? shit , dunno...sorry, man.), the couple whom I shared a wine bottle with last Hallowmas (dammit, I always see you guys when I'm drunk, and I can't remember your names!;), and Mr. Rudy's lovely wife...Good meeting Miss Lola and Gil from My Faves (whom I missed, along with the Everyothers---sorry guys, next time, truly).

I seem to be apologizing a lot here, don't I?  LOL!

Thanks to Miss Rain, Mr. Franz, Miss Yula and Mr. Cloth for repeatedly asking if I needed a place to crash for the night...your warmth and concern is duly noted and registered in my heart.

Having stood right by Lucky Strange and watched hs axework for the past two shows, and being a beginning player myself, I am inclined to think that my man is as good an axeman as Steve Jones of the Pistols, Johnny Thunders, Billy Zoom, Greg Ginn and all that bunch...has ferocious Keef-cool w/o the attendant smack problems...w/o even trying.  Punk Rock.  :D

Have to run all...you take care and be safe.  Here's hoping Devil Dawg is ok...

L.

i hate to be the negative bird of the bunch but i thought the show was pretty awful.  i didn't dig the crowd at all; it was so hard to dance.  Inferno played a great setlist, but not being able to dance that easily made that a sad thing.  the danse is what made me first fall for inferno, it's just not the same without it. hearing our candidate was a dream come true, i only wish i wasn't already dressed and ready to leave by the time they played it.

just us nice, during the first song i got punched in the eye. at multiple points i was thrown around violently. there was more stage diving than i had seen in a while. and during the last song my whole body was being pushed hard against the stage. i don't think the dancing was a problem. maybe it was just your dancing.

nice to talk to everyone.
lester, i can make copies of the videos if you want, message me about film and college.
franz, thanks for breaking my spirit.
blahbity blah, see everyone soon.

I don't know, I was sitting on the rail in the back (due to illness) and from my point of view there were many wonderful places to dance, two wonderful cats by the bar were dancing and waltzing all night long, there was an entire group away from the front dancing the night away, and of course there were the wonderful moshing infernites in front of the stage. Although some people could use waltzing lessons, there were many places where you could dance the night away just as easily as moshing.
and hey, if you didn't dig the floor, there was a speaker and some confusing signs down in the bathroom, and plenty of room to dance...
I thought the show was amazing, it had been an absurdidly crazy week and the show just made it all melt away...

Southpaw was very accomadating about letting me bring in my 15 yr old cousin (hehehehe) so  I will not say anything bad... The security guard was a bit of a hard ass Nazi (he wouldnt take a timtam chocalate that I offered him), but that is his job so I wont hold grudges... There was plenty of dancing from what i saw Chelsea so I dont know what u are talkin about...

The crowd was a bit "trendy" (hipster as quoting tampon) for my taste but i didnt mind them...

NJDANCEPARTY: Dude.. i forgot u in my shout out!

I had a great time! Twas good seeing everyone, especially those i havent seen in a long time like Ralph and my friends Tacky and Liz and Co.
Other highlights for me were Our Candidate (of course) almost as cool at Baily "singing" was seeing Clothie on the clarinet,  Cloth getting kicked in the ass by Maura, and getting the waltz w/ afore mentioned Cloth (though i was terribly ungraceful) it had been a while.

lowlights were the jerk ass security guard, the car getting towed, having Angelo and Cloth stage dive onto and into me, the later almost knocking me off the stage (try to get some air next time you bastards), and lastly not getting to stay out an party later due to having work in the morning.

Acala: 'tis Rat and I that are the barers of the wine.
Vass: Bite for the gift and danke again for the one you gave us.  and i didnt even know it was your cam thats why i put it back in Pete's pocket instead of directly to you, but im glad it worked.
MsJoy: dont ever miss another show again.

till next time all xoxo

The cousin bit worked... well because I handled things in a manner where I made them feel good about what they were doing for me... It didnt matter if they didnt believe me or not. They respected the fact that I called in advance to let them know instead of pulling a surprise stunt or fake ID scam... Its all about respect... Goood telephonic skillz works as well..:O)

Excellent show, nice place, beautiful crowd. I was able to help Mr. Devin Opposed enter the show for free by just walking down the street with him and buying a red marker... one of my prouder moments.  I waltzed (more like fell over repeatedly) with Rain and she gave me a pin.  That was wonderful.  It was great to see everyone again before the new year but i noticed the absence of one Miss Joy... what's up with that?  My friend anthony's car almost got legally stolen too, those bastards. He had to cough up a wad of cash with a little help from his friends.  Hmmmmm, what else?  I arrived at the Gandolfo house with no sal and hid in the basement, then when he got home i had an awesome game of chess and an awesome game of backgammon.  Later i slept on the pool table (not fun) and the next day put up his christmas tree.

Pretty much the whole time i wore a blue polyester suit that made me smell so fucking bad i can't even talk about it.

Regarding this, I'm starting to think I look about as graceful as a cranky and drunken Tony Soprano ...at least in these photos, Vass...LOL!

My resolution in the New Year:  less like James Gandolfini, more like Michael Chilkis (the lead on "The Shield").

Perhaps a bit less dark beer, more time in the weight room and hitting the heavy bag...or maybe just the working out part, ignoring that "less beer" thing...

(snort)  Heh.  ;)  A vanity moment.  That's funny.
